Auditions will take place Monday and Tuesday, January 27 and 28, 2025, in Room 016 at the Nancy Cantor Warehouse Building, 350 W. Fayette St, Syracuse. Auditioners should prepare a brief monologue
showing their mastery of language.

Syracuse Shakespeare-In-The-Park (SSITP) is a beloved Central New York non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the works of William Shakespeare to life for the community [1]. Founded on the principles of artistic excellence and accessibility, SSITP produces professional-quality, free Shakespearean productions every summer.
Held annually at the picturesque Thornden Park Amphitheater, SSITP’s productions present Shakespeare’s timeless plays in a captivating outdoor setting. With a focus on period costumes and a commitment to the power of the Bard’s words, SSITP’s talented cast and crew breathe new life into these classic stories.
As a 501(c)(3) organization, SSITP relies on the generosity of patrons to continue its mission of enriching the cultural landscape of Syracuse. Donations allow them to offer free admission to all performances, making Shakespeare accessible to a broad audience. SSITP also fosters educational outreach programs, introducing students and seniors to the beauty and complexity of Shakespeare’s work.
